مما لا شك فيه أن هناك الكثير والكثير من تطبيقات الطقس المتوفرة في متجر التطبيقات، ولكن ما تقدمه ياهو يتمكن دائماً من البقاء في مقدمة هذه التطبيقات. والآن، فقد حصل التطبيق على بعض الميزات الجديدة التي تجعله أكثر إفادة للمستخدمين.
حيث تم تحديث تطبيق Yahoo Weather على الايفون مؤخراً لتوفير بعض التنبيهات الإضافية للمستخدمين، مما يتيح لهم معرفة متى يكون المطر أو الثلج على وشك السقوط. ووفقاً لـ ياهو، فإن تطبيق Yahoo Weather سوف يقوم الآن بتنبيه المستخدمين قبل 15 دقيقة من هطول الأمطار أو الثلوج. وتقول ياهو في إعلانها:
“اليوم، نحن نُدخل تنبيهات جديدة للطقس حول العالم، فلن تكون عالقاً بعد الآن في وسط المطر أو الثلوج بدون استعداد. حيث سيقوم تطبيقنا الجميل والرائع Yahoo Weather، بتنبيهك قبل 15 دقيقة من سقوط المطر او الثلج، حتى تتمكن من اخذ احتياطاتك والاستعداد للمطر!”
كما أشارت ياهو أنها قامت بتحديث الطريقة التي يتحدد بها التوقعات، كل ذلك في محاولة لجعل التطبيق أكثر دقة في توقعاته اليومية. هذا ويتاح تطبيق ياهو الآن للتجميل من متجر التطبيقات، كما ستجدون بالأسفل رابط لتحميل النسخة الجديدة والتي تحمل رقم إصدار 1.8.
